The Space
This thoughtfully designed garden-level home offers a spacious open-concept layout ideal for both relaxing and longer-term living. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly together around a charming working brick fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large sliding doors connect the interior directly to the private garden, allowing for easy indoor–outdoor living throughout the year.
The fully equipped kitchen is designed for everyday functionality, while the in-unit full-size washer and dryer add convenience for extended stays. Generous storage is integrated throughout the apartment, including professionally customized California Closets, making the space especially comfortable for guests settling in for weeks or months at a time.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, south-facing windows with beautiful natural light, and both privacy and blackout shades for flexible comfort. A full wall of custom California Closets provides exceptional storage, complemented by a dresser, two bedside tables, an armchair, and a dedicated desk area. The room also offers direct access to the bathroom and has ample space to accommodate a crib, which can be provided upon request.
The second “half” bedroom functions as an interior flex room and is best suited for children or adaptable use. While it does not have an exterior window, it includes a twin bed with a pull-out twin trundle, a small desk, and floor-to-ceiling corner shelving. An open crawl-style closet cove with a short hanging rod works well for children’s clothing and suitcase storage, while an additional large closet is conveniently located just outside the room in the hallway.
Because the room sits beneath the building’s common stairwell, some footstep noise from the upper floor may occasionally be heard, making it less ideal for especially light sleepers.

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE

This home is typically reserved by full calendar months and, whenever possible, in consecutive monthly blocks (for example, April would generally not be booked unless March is also reserved). The minimum stay is 1 30 days, and longer stays are welcome with no maximum stay limit.
< Professional Cleaning Requirement>
To help maintain the apartment during longer stays, guests are required to schedule professional cleanings at least every other week at a cost of $175 per cleaning.
< Building & Noise>
This is an older Brooklyn townhouse, and some sound transfer between floors is part of the character of the building. Footsteps from upstairs tenants may occasionally be heard through the floors. All residents are mindful of this, and any disturbance concerns are typically resolved quickly with friendly reminders.
Please also note that the small half bedroom is located beneath the common stairwell leading to the upper floor, so creaky stair sounds may occasionally be heard when neighbors are going up or down.
The apartment is located on the ground level, and the primary bedroom windows face the street. While this is generally a quiet residential block with limited traffic, moderate city sounds such as passing cars or occasional pedestrian conversations may sometimes be heard at night.
As of May/June 2026, we have upgraded the primary bedroom windows with new sound-reducing glass. As a result, street noise in the room may is significantly reduced or eliminated entirely. Please feel free to inquire at the time of booking for the latest feedback following the installation.***
To date, we have not received guest complaints regarding noise in the bedroom, though the upgraded glass is being installed as part of a broader window replacement project and should further improve the experience.

The apartment has been partially updated and carefully maintained. Recent improvements include newly refinished floors, all new closets, doors, and moldings throughout the unit. The bathroom was remodeled several years ago, and the kitchen features updated countertops and backsplash tile while retaining some of its original cabinetry.

Dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on breed, age, temperament, and cleaning scheduling considerations. Additional cleaning fees may apply. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted at this time.
