Wildlife
Though dry and mostly brown, the desert boasts a plethora of wildlife. There is a likelihood you will see, and should be prepared to see, any of the following animals: Jack Rabbits, Crows, Owls, Quail, Coyotes, Bobcats, Chipmunks, Lizards, Beetles, Bugs, Snakes, Spiders, Scorpions, etc.

Flora
Please respect the delicate native plants on the property. As well, be cautious of the various cacti. Wearing shoes and watching where you walk is the best way to not step on a cactus.

IMPORTANT: Follow host provided map to property or you will likely get stuck in soft sand as map apps will send you down impassible roads.

The Luna Villa Casita is located one mile down a dirt road. Though many locals, including your hosts, drive sedans and coupes successfully down the road, if you do not feel comfortable doing so in your own vehicle, there are many short term rentals that are located on paved roads in the hi-desert.
