Yool Caanal Condominiums is a long time favorite, located on a nice stretch of Half Moon Bay!
Yool Caanal offers simple comfortable accommodations with fantastic views of Half Moon Bay. Each unit features long beach side terraces perfect for looking out over the bay and blue Caribbean waters.
The units consist of a well equipped kitchen, living and dining area.
-The master bedroom is furnished with king bed.
- The second bedroom with two single beds.
Both bedrooms have recently renovated private bathrooms. The master bathroom is ensuite, and the guest bathroom is right next to the guest bedroom. AC in bedrooms only.
You will find excellent snorkeling just out of front of your unit in Half Moon Bay. Because Yool Caanal sits on a quiet stretch of Half Moon Bay it is a great place to watch the sea turtles come out of the ocean during the nesting season.
To us, Yool Caanal offers what it is that has made Akumal one of the last best places. A quiet easy comfort that will put a smile on your face for no reason at all, Enjoy!

Summary: This condo has a great view and is in an excellent location at the north end of half-moon bay. Small shops and restaurants are within a five minute walk as is Yal-Ku lagoon. The snorkeling at this beach is excellent but beware of the rocky shoreline, water shoes highly recommended. On any given day you may need to fight through some seaweed to get to open ocean but it's generally not much of an issue. The main reason I don't give 5 stars is due to the rental next door... It's a large family/ group rental type of place and there were many screaming kids there almost all of the time we were there( 2 different groups ) They were not quiet until after 11:00 p.m. and it was LOUD. The other inconvenience with this unit is that there is no ac in the main living area, it's hot and humid in Akumal and even with a sea breeze it gets quite warm in the condo by evening. The people that run this rental were very responsive,using What's App they answered all my questions very quickly. Great place with a couple of issues that aren't the worst.
