The Garden is a solid, modern house (rebuilt in 2010) which retains a colonial New England charm. It includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen, basement with home gym, Starlink satellite internet, smart tv with Amazon, Netflix, HBO, etc. Also includes on site laundry, cooking appliances but no dishwasher. Linens and towels included in rental. Window unit AC is installed in downstairs living room and fans in each bedroom.
The space
The Garden is a private West Side cottage off of Cooneymus road. Removed enough to escape the noise and traffic of the main road while maintaining easy access, the property is located closely enough to offer both a -10 minute drive to downtown and the marinas while also being a -10 minute walk to Cooneymus beach, a location long renowned as one of the best spots to watch the nightly sunset.
The sunsets are also in plain and brilliant view from the house by simply looking over the South West pond. With no adjacent neighbors close to the house and no through traffic, the property is secluded yet accessible. It includes numerous private coves to relax outdoors, an open field for sports and activities, a stone fire pit, ample parking, hammock, outdoor shower and outdoor seating for meals and get-togethers. The property also includes a private pond for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding and lounging in the sun on the floating dock.
House Layout:
First floor- Kitchen, living room, full bathroom and queen bedroom.
Second floor- right when you walk upstairs there is a common area with a twin bed, bathroom off of that room. Then there are 2 bedrooms with doors, one with one twin bed and the other with 2 twin beds.
Other things to note
We as of 7/18/21 we charge a $500 refundable security deposit through the VRBO Resolution center. Deductions from this deposit will be made if extra cleaning is needed, house rules are broken or damages are made. The deposit will be returned after house has been cleaned and inspected.
